Tampa Jai Alai Redevelopment
When the old Tampa Jai Alai fronton decided to shut its doors for the last time in 1998, once again it was the Morin Development Group that stepped in with the vision to transform the 40 acre site. Despite the barriers to entry in this lucrative South Tampa market Morin Development Group's foresight brought "big box" retailing to an area that was not previously served by attracting Home Depot and Sam's Club to anchor the center. To date, this further example of Morin Development Group's ability to bring a vision alive is the only Home Depot and Sam's Club located in the South Tampa trade area.
